MOSCOW, June 11. /TASS/. Russia lowered oil production in May by 9,000 barrels per day (bpd) against April 2026 to 9.009 mln bpd, the OPEC said in its report.
Russia’s oil production was below the OPEC+ target with compensations and voluntary cuts taken into account by 690,000 bpd.
Russia was to lift 9.699 mln bpd in May subject to all voluntary constraints. No compensation of surplus production was required. Actual oil production turned out to be 690,000 bpd below the established target.
