The group specified that the vehicle has a universal base chassis, meaning a wide range of equipment can be mounted on it

MOSCOW, May 26. /TASS/. The Vityaz engineering company (of the Uralvagonzavod Group, UVZ, part of the state tech corporation Rostec) has unveiled the DT-3PM tracked all-terrain vehicle at the Ufa Petrochemical Forum, the UVZ Group’s press service reported.

"A prototype of the DT-3PM lightweight two-link tracked all-terrain vehicle, which successfully passed state trials, is on display at the UVZ Group’s exhibit at the 34th International Exhibition 'Gas. Oil. Technologies'. The unique DT-3PM chassis is equally effective for special missions, as well as for oil and gas companies, rescue teams, and repair services," the Uralvagonzavod press service reported.

It specified that the vehicle has a universal base chassis, meaning a wide range of equipment – mini-excavators, manipulators, living quarters, passenger cabins, welding systems, and other technological equipment – can be mounted on it. Therefore, the new vehicle is equally in demand in both the military and civilian sectors – especially in the fuel and energy sector, repair and rescue services operating in extreme off-road conditions and subzero temperatures in the Arctic, Siberia, and the Far East.

"The DT-3PM is a unique platform that we are presenting to the general public for the first time. It is based on the best solutions implemented in medium-and-heavy-duty vehicles, yet is a lightweight, maneuverable all-terrain vehicle. Its main feature is flexibility: the same chassis can be used to mount both weapons and civilian technological or rescue equipment. I am confident that this innovative vehicle will meet all requirements and will generate great interest among companies operating in Russia’s hard-to-reach areas," Uralvagonzavod Deputy CEO for civilian products Andrey Abakumov said.
