MOSCOW, May 18. /TASS/. There are prospects for cooperation between Russia’s Far East and China in energy and agriculture, Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev told TASS.
"I can say so much more on cooperation in energy and agriculture. Overall, there are very many areas for our friendship, for our cooperation," he shared.
Trutnev highlighted tourism as yet another promising sphere. "We will develop tourism. Today, in scenic Russian locales, including Kamchatka, Sakhalin, and Lake Baikal, new tourist complexes are being built. I’ll tell you frankly, I have borrowed the hiking trail idea from China," the senior Russian official confessed.
