MOSCOW, May 6. /TASS/. The price of gold futures contracts for June 2026 delivery on the Comex exchange has surpassed $4,700 per troy ounce for the first time since April 27, 2026, according to trading data.

As of 11:50 a.m. Moscow time (8:50 a.m. GMT) the gold price was up by 3.14% at $4,711.9 per troy ounce.

By 12:00 p.m. Moscow time (9:00 a.m. GMT), the price of gold had extended gains to 3.32% as it traded at $4,720.2 per troy ounce.
