MOSCOW, May 4. /TASS/. The RTS Index fell below 1,100 points for the first time since April 9 of this year, according to Moscow Exchange data.

The index had tumbled 1.75% to 1,099.88 points but recovered later to 1,100.44 points (down 1.7%).

The MOEX Russia Index lost 2% to 2,612.97 points.
