SPIEF 2026 expanded business program has been unveiled — Roscongress
According to Anton Kobyakov, the program brings together over 150 sessions grouped by thematic areas
MOSCOW, May 4. /TASS/. The expanded business program for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum has been published on the forum’s official website, the Roscongress Foundation reported.
According to the forum’s organizer, this year's program is built around the theme of creating a new global development model amidst the transformation of the global economy.
"The SPIEF 2026 business program reflects the key changes taking place in the global economy and international relations. Today, pragmatic dialogue aimed at finding solutions that can ensure sustainable development amid global transformation is of particular importance. The Forum traditionally serves as a platform where new approaches to cooperation are constructed and initiatives are launched that will shape the economic agenda for years to come," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee.
According to him, the program brings together over 150 sessions grouped by thematic areas: from the global and Russian economies to technological leadership, the social agenda and the development of the environment for living.
In particular, as part of the section entitled The Global Economy: Between Confrontation and Cooperation, participants will discuss the transformation of global markets, investment strategies, and new formats for international partnership. Key topics include the architecture of the future financial system, trade development, technological cooperation, and the role of business in international development
The section entitled the Russian Economy: Structural Changes for Returning to a Growth Trajectory will focus on the search for a new model of economic development. The spotlight is on industrial policy, investment, long-term financial instruments, and the role of entrepreneurship as a driver of sustainable growth.
The section entitled The Putting People First: A New Development Paradigm track focuses on demographics, the labor market, and education.
The section entitled An Environment to Live In: New Technologies - A New Quality is dedicated to sustainable regional development, the heritage economy, and the creation of a comfortable environment.
The section entitled Technologies Shaping the Future brings together topics such as artificial intelligence, robotization, digital sovereignty, and the transformation of interactions between people, the state, and business.
