MOSCOW, April 10. /TASS/. Telegram co-founder Pavel Durov said that WhatsApp’s encryption could be considered the biggest scam in history, arguing that it has misled billions of users.

"WhatsApp’s ‘encryption’ may be the biggest consumer fraud in history — deceiving billions of users," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Durov added that WhatsApp reads its users’ messages and shares them with third parties.
