MOSCOW, April 8. /TASS/. Annual inflation in Russia gears up from 5.86% a week earlier to 5.95% from March 31 to April 6, the Ministry of Economic Development said in its current price review.

Inflation stood at 0.19% over the week from March 31 to April 6.

Food prices hiked by 0.17%, including by 0.18% for fruits and vegetables, In the nonfood segment, the rise in prices was 0.1%. Prices in the monitored services sector dropped by 0.39%.
