NEW YORK, April 3. /TASS/. A container carrier of French shipping company CMA CGM successfully sailed through the Strait of Hormuz and became the first Western mercantile ship that managed to that after the start of the conflict in the Middle East, Bloomberg reports, citing marine traffic monitoring data.

France’s Foreign Ministry and CMA CGM did not respond to the news agency’s request for comment.
