VNG CEO Ulf Heitmueller said that things are not moving in the right direction
NEW YORK, April 1. /TASS/. VNG, the third largest German gas importer, urged the national government to take measures for underground gas storages filling amid high fuel prices.
"We believe that policymakers should now be considering how to intervene when they see that things are not moving in the right direction," VNG CEO Ulf Heitmueller said, cited by Bloomberg.
"The sooner we intervene in the markets in a minimally invasive way, the less severe the fluctuations will be," the chief executive added.
