MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. Annual GDP in Russia declined from 2.1% in January to 1.5% in February 2026, the Ministry of Economic Development said in its current price review.

"According to the estimate of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, GDP growth rates were 1.5% in February 2026 after 2.1% in January," the ministry said.

"The economic dynamics was largely conditioned by the calendar factor for the second month in a row - in February 2026, there was one working day less than in February 2025 (in January 2026, there were two working days less than in January 2025). GDP with the seasonal factor adjustment remained at the level of January 2026 (0.0 month on month SA)," the ministry indicated.
