The Russian president emphasized that the difference is huge
MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. Russia is selling natural gas to Armenia at a price that is much cheaper than this price is currently in Europe, President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting with Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
"Concerning the energy segment. I hope the situation will improve their also. Currently, as you know, prices of energy resources, gas, say, are somewhat above $600 per thousand cubic meters in Europe. Russia is selling gas to Armenia for [$]177.5 per thousand cubic meters. The difference is huge," the Russian leader said.
"From my point of view, certain matters are rather important for our relations - the energy sector, for example," Putin noted.
