TEHRAN, March 30. /TASS/. The Iranian parliamentary committee on national security and foreign policy has approved a toll plan for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, the Tasnim news agency reported, citing a committee member.

According to him, the plan also bans ships associated with the US, Israel and the countries that have imposed unilateral sanctions on Iran from transiting the strait.

Notably, toll payments are expected to be made in Iranian rials.
