MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. The Russian stock indices are rising at the start of the main trading session, according to data from the Moscow Exchange. The yuan rate is falling against the ruble.

As of 10:00 a.m. Moscow time, the MOEX and RTS indices were up 0.5%, reaching 2,868.34 and 1,142.8 points, respectively. The yuan was down 3.7 kopecks from the previous trading session's close, at 11.4845 rubles.

By 10:15 a.m. Moscow time, the MOEX Index reached 2,866.12 points (up 0.42%), while the RTS Index was at 1,141.91 points (up 0.42%). Meanwhile, the yuan accelerated its decline by 4.25 kopecks to 11.479 rubles.

The Moscow Exchange Index with the additional ticker (IMOEX2) rose 0.99% at the opening of the morning trading session, reaching 2,882.23 points, according to trading data as of 7:00 a.m. Moscow time.
