MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. The dollar exchange rate in the Russian interbank market has grown above 79 rubles for the first time since January 12, 2026, according to trading data.

The dollar exchange rate was up by 0.53% at 79.09 rubles, while the euro exchange rate was up by 0.45% at 91.722 rubles.

Later the dollar exchange rate in the Russian interbank market extended gains to 0.78% reaching 79.29 rubles, while the European currency was up by 0.72% at 91.974 rubles.
