WASHINGTON, March 6. /TASS/. The United States plans to take a series of measures in an attempt to curb the growth in oil prices, caused by the US-Israeli military operation against Iran, US President Donald Trump said.

"Further action to reduce pressure on oil is imminent, and the oil seems to have pretty much stabilized," the US leader said.

On March 3, Trump announced that US Navy warships will escort tankers in the Strait of Hormuz if necessary.
