DOHA, March 1. /TASS/. For the time being, Iran has no intention of closing the Strait of Hormuz or block navigation there, despite the military escalation, said the Islamic Republic’s top diplomat, Abbas Araghchi.

"We have no intention of closing the Strait of Hormuz at present, nor any plans to do anything that would disrupt navigation in it at this stage," the Iranian foreign minister told Al Jazeera.
