MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. Macroeconomic stability enables Russia to solve current challenges, including budget deficit, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a briefing.

"Indeed, [budget] deficit is in place, but these are current difficulties that macroeconomic stability allows us to resolve overall by taking necessary measures," he said.

Oil and gas revenues of the Russian budget are declining, which is partially offset by an increase in non-oil and gas revenues, Peskov added.
