MOSCOW, February 4. /TASS/. Russia consistently ranks first in energy supplies to China, President Vladimir Putin reiterated during videoconference talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

"Russia is the leading energy supplier to China, and our energy partnership is mutually beneficial and truly strategic," the Russian leader noted.

"We are conducting an active dialogue on peaceful nuclear energy and advancing high-tech projects, including in industry and space exploration. Cooperation in agriculture is also expanding rapidly. According to our data, agricultural trade volume has grown by more than 20%," Putin added.
