Minister estimates last year’s food exports from Russia at $41.5 bln

Russia supplies products to around 160 countries, Russia’s Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut noted

MOSCOW, January 30. /TASS/. Russia’s Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut estimated last year’s food exports from the country at $41.5 bln, with exports of high-value-added products having increased by 8%.

"Last year, of $41.5 bln, exports of high-value-added products were worth $19 bln, an 8% increase. These are very good indicators. The market is restructuring, exporters are restructuring, the number of exporters is growing, and the geography is expanding," she said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

Russia supplies products to around 160 countries, the minister noted.
