KAZAN, January 16. /TASS/. The Russian electric car Atom will have the price lower than the one of its Chinese counterparts, Deputy CEO of Kama company Anatoly Kiyashko told reporters.

"We will announce the price for the public as early as in February. We can so far that our vehicle is cheaper than Chinese counterparts but as regards the price category, it is certainly one of high-volume deluxe cars," he said.

The Atom electric vehicle is being developed since 2021. The first functional prototype was unveiled in Moscow in May 2023.
