MOSCOW, January 28. /TASS/. The price of gold futures contracts for February 2026 delivery has hit a fresh all-time high on the Comex exchange (a division of the New York Mercantile Exchange) as it surpassed $5,200 per troy ounce, according to trading data.

As of 4:40 a.m. Moscow time (1:40 a.m. GMT) the gold price was up by 2.41% at $5,205.1 per troy ounce.

By 4:45 a.m. Moscow time (1:45 a.m. GMT) it extended gains to $5,216.7 per troy ounce (+2.64%).
