MOSCOW, November 19. /TASS/. The El Dabaa nuclear power plant in Egypt under construction by Rosatom corporation may start functioning soon, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"The project is advancing successfully. All the grounds are in place that the plant will be launched in the near future and start generating electric power," Peskov said.

This is a very important flagship project in the peaceful nuclear energy segment between Russia and Egypt, he stressed.
