MUSCAT, November 13. /TASS/. Russia’s Mir payment system may be launched in Oman, with cooperation in this area having already begun, Chairman of the Oman-Russia Joint Business Council Hamed Al Dhahab told reporters.

"It will be launched. We intend to do it," he said. Speaking about the timeframe, Al Dhahab noted that it depends on both sides.

"I don't know [how soon it will be possible] because we're working together. But it will happen. We've already started working," he said.
