MOSCOW, October 23. /TASS/. The introduction of European Union sanctions against AvtoVAZ and its CEO, Maxim Sokolov, will not affect the automaker's operations, the company's press service told TASS.

"AvtoVAZ does not have any business relations with EU counterparties, and therefore the new sanctions package will not affect the company's operations," the automaker said.

The EU also added PJSC Sollers and its subsidiaries Sollers Alabuga and Sollers Cargo to the sanctions list.
