MOSCOW, October 10. /TASS/. Russian stock indices were declining at the start of the main trading session.

As of 10:00 a.m. Moscow time, the MOEX and RTS indices were down 0.3% to 2,630.54 points and 1,017.9 points respectively. The yuan rate went up 6.65 kopecks from the previous session's close, to 11.397 rubles.

By 10:27 a.m. Moscow time, the MOEX Index had accelerated its decline and was at 2,621.2 points (-0.65%), while the RTS Index was at 1,014.28 points (-0.65%). Meanwhile, the yuan's growth slowed to 11.368 rubles (+3.75 kopecks).

At the opening of the morning trading session, IMOEX2 index was down 0.31% trading at 2,630.12 points, according to trading data as of 7:00 a.m. Moscow time.
