MOSCOW, October 9. /TASS/. The Russian stock market showed growth across key indices and the yuan exchange rate was also rising at the beginning of the main trading session on the Moscow Exchange on Thursday.

As of 10:00 a.m. Moscow time, the MOEX and RTS indices were up by 0.73%, reaching 2,581.19 and 997.12 points, respectively. The yuan gained 7.4 kopecks compared to the previous session’s closing level, standing at 11.34 rubles.

By 10:15 a.m., the MOEX index had slightly slowed its growth, standing at 2,580.91 points (+0.72%), while the RTS index was at 997.01 points (+0.72%). At the same time, the yuan accelerated its gains to 11.36 rubles (+9.75 kopecks).
