MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. Annual inflation in Russia slowed down to 7.99% in the week ended September 22 from to 8.02% in the previous week, the Economic Development Ministry reported.

During the reporting week, consumer market inflation equaled 0.08%. Food prices increased by 0.09%, while prices for fruits and vegetables remained unchanged. For other food products, price growth reached 0.1%.

Non-food prices added 0.13%, while prices in the monitored services sector edged up by 0.06%.
