MOSCOW, September 16. /TASS/. During the main trading session on the Moscow Exchange, the MOEX Index fell below 2,800 points for the first time since August 6, 2025, according to trading data.

As of 12:36 Moscow time, the MOEX Index fell by 0.35% to 2,799.99 points.

By 12:51 Moscow time, the MOEX Index accelerated its decline and was at 2,785.1 points (-0.88%), while the RTS Index was at 1,056.16 points (-0.88%).
