The social and economic development of Russia’s Far East will be the main theme of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s speech at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told TASS on the sidelines of the event.

"Issues of the Far East’s social and economic development will be [the focus]," he said, answering to a reporter’s question.
