Introduction of the income tax for subsidiaries of international holdings will bring about 15-20 bln rubles to the Russian budget, Deputy Finance Minister Alexey Sazanov said
MOSCOW, August 13. /TASS/. Introduction of the income tax for subsidiaries of international holdings will bring about 15-20 bln rubles ($188-251 mln) to the Russian budget, Deputy Finance Minister Alexey Sazanov said in an interview with the Expert news outlet.
"If considering the last year, about 15-20 bln rubles, according to our estimates," Sazanov said.
The official explained the Finance Ministry suggested revising the rules on income tax of legal entities being government by the principle set in Pillar Two [Global Anti-Base Erosion Rules proposed by the OECD - TASS], so that Russian taxes do not leak to budgets of other jurisdictions. "Suggested changes are very simple: the minimum tax rate of major international groups of companies should be 15% in Russia as regards active operations," Sazanov said.
