Brewing in Russia gain 2.4% in 7M 2025 — statistics

MOSCOW, August 13. /TASS/. Brewing in Russia gained 2.4% annually to 543.63 mln decaliters in January - July 2025, according to data released by the Federal Service for Control over Alcohol and Tobacco Markets (Rosalkogoltabakkontrol).
In the meantime, production of cider, perry and mead surged by 10.3% year on year to 8.27 mln decaliters. The output of fermented beverages moved upward by 2.5% to 551.89 mln decaliters.
Production of beer with the alcohol by volume (ABV) up to 8.6% added 1.6% to 471.57 mln decaliters but lost 6.1% to 44,900 decaliters for ABV above 8.6%, The output of beer-based beverages gained 8% to 72 mln decaliters.
Cider production increased by 9% during the seven reporting months to 5.8 mln decaliters. Perry production lost 4.4% to 140,900 decaliters. The mead output surged by 14.9% to 2.34 mln decaliters.
