MOSCOW, July 9. /TASS/. The Russian stock market opens in the red, according to Moscow Exchange data.

The MOEX Russia Index lost 1% to 2,727.98 points. The RTS Index edged down by 1.15% to 1,097.69 points.

The yuan gained 1.7 kopecks to 10.872 rubles.
