BRUSSELS, May 19. /TASS/. The European Commission expects the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil to decline to $67.7 in 2025 and to $64 in 2026, according to a projection included in the Commission’s spring forecast.

In its fall forecast, the European Commission had estimated prices at $73.1 and $71.5, respectively.

The Commission considers uncertainty surrounding US trade tariffs to be the primary factor contributing to the decline in oil prices.
