MOSCOW, April 16. /TASS/. The Russian stock market opens in the red, according to Moscow Exchange data.

The MOEX Russia Index lost 0.33% to 2,796.25 points. The RTS Index edged down by 0.1% to 1,070.32 points.

The yuan added 1.95 kopecks to 11.247 rubles.
