MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. The real wages of Russian citizens increased by 6.5% year-on-year in January 2025, according to preliminary data from the Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).

The average monthly nominal wage of employees in organizations amounted to 88,981 rubles ($1,056) in January, reflecting a 17.1% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.
