MOSCOW, March 28. /TASS/. The profit of the Bank of Russia surged by 42.5% annually and totaled 199.5 bln rubles ($2.3 bln) in 2024, the regulator said in its annual report.

The Central Bank posted profits of 140.4 bln rubles ($1.7 bln) as of the end of 2023.

The regulator had losses for several years in a row before 2023.
