MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. The development strategy of the Russian state-run corporation Rostec designed until 2036 can be approved in the first half of this year, Managing Director Yury Koptev told TASS.

"The document was prepared in the first reading. It sets forth all the required targets from the standpoint of solving scientific and scientific-technical tasks, issues related to development of our economy and critical areas. I believe the strategy will be adopted by the middle of this year. It has passed through the internal approval cycle so far," Koptev said.

Such document is to be approved by the supervisory board and the strategy should be endorsed by all the relevant divisions at the same time.

"The new strategy will largely predetermine further movement. It is absolutely clearly focused on increasing the role of the scientific and technical component and the increase of own funds for creation of highly competitive products, that is, on innovative development," the managing director stressed.
