MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. Temporary restrictions of Sheremetyevo Airport operations were lifted, the press service of the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) said.

"Restrictions of arrivals and departures of aircraft were lifted in the Sheremetyevo Airport at 08:55 a.m. Moscow time (05:55 a.m. GMT). Eighteen airplanes performing flights to Sheremetyevo flew during the period of restrictions to alternate airfields," the regulator said.

Crews, air traffic controllers and airport services took all the required measures for flight safety.
