First oil production on Layavozhskoye field in Nenets Autonomous Region due in 2026

Layavozhneftegaz is a joint venture of Lukoil and Gazprom

MOSCOW, February 27. /TASS/. The first oil under the Layavozhneftegaz project in the Nenets Autonomous Region will be produced in 2026, the region's Governor Yury Bezdudny wrote on Telegram.

"At the meeting with the counterparts, we have verified the project's terms. The construction of roads, sites and infrastructures is in the active phase. The first oil will be produced next year," the post reads.

The governor's press service clarified to TASS the governor had written about the Layavozhskoye field.

Layavozhneftegaz is a joint venture of Lukoil and Gazprom. The Layavozhskoye and Vaneyvisskoye oil and gas condensate fields are parts of one federal-level subsurface area.

The Vaneyvisskoye and Layavozhskoye fields are located east of Naryan-Mar. The total recoverable reserves of liquid hydrocarbons are 27.4 million tons, and of natural gas - 225.3 billion cubic meters.

During the meeting, the parties discussed further development of the oil and gas industry in the region, focusing on the Simbeisko-Mishvan subsurface area that continues development of the Komandirshorskaya Group of fields (the Komandirshorskoye, North Komandirshorskoye and West Komandirshorskoye fields).
