MOSCOW, February 27. /TASS/. Short-term gas supplies to Moldova have been extended after late February, the European energy trader MET Group told TASS.

"Cooperation between Swiss-based MET Group and Moldovagaz in the field of short-term gas supplies will be extended after late February. MET Group will continue gas supplies to the border on Moldova, where gas will be taken by Moldovagaz, our partner under the contract," a company’s spokesperson said.

President of Transnistria Vadim Krasnoselsky said earlier that agreements on natural gas imports were renewed with the support of the Russian Energy Ministry.
