MOSCOW, February 11. /TASS/. Russian and Chinese railways moved record-breaking 174 mln metric tons of freight in 2024, CEO of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov said in an interview with Rossiya-24 television.

"We also set a record last year - 174 mln metric tons in cross-border trade," the chief executive said.

Earlier reports said Russian Railways increased freight transportation with China by 8.5% over ten months of 2024 to 145 mln metric tons.
