DUSHANBE, February 10. /TASS/. There are huge prospects for Russian business in Tajikistan, including in such areas as hydropower industry, subsoil use, and industry, Russian Ambassador to Dushanbe Semyon Grigoryev said in an interview with TASS.

"There are huge prospects for participation of Russian business in such sectors of Tajikistan’s economy as hydropower industry, subsoil use, construction and the production of construction supplies, consumer industry and food processing, agriculture, transport and communications," he said.

Over 320 enterprises with Russian capital operate in Tajikistan now. In 2024, trade turnover between the two countries increased by 15.6% compared with the previous year to over $1.9 bln.
