Russia’s manufacturing industry to gain 7% in 2024 — first deputy PM

Denis Manturov added that industrial growth overall will roughly remain at 4%
MOSCOW, December 26. /TASS/. Russia’s manufacturing industry may gain 7% by the end of 2024, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
"In 11 months (industrial - TASS) growth surpassed 4%. Manufacturing industry demonstrates [growth] exceeding 8%, while we expect full-year growth of at least 7%, and industrial [growth] overall will roughly remain at 4%," he said.
Russia’s Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov told TASS earlier that the growth of manufacturing reached record rates in 2024.
Fixed investment is expected at the level of 15% by the end of the year, Manturov said, adding that in three quarters of 2024 fixed investment totaled around 18%.
