Russia’s gold production up 5.2% in 11M 2024 — statistics

In November 2024, gold production edged up by 1.4% year-on-year but plunged by 13.2% month-on-month

MOSCOW, December 25. /TASS/. Russia’s gold production rose by 5.2% in January-November 2024 year-on-year, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported.

In November 2024, gold production edged up by 1.4% year-on-year but plunged by 13.2% month-on-month.

Production of primary aluminum increased by 5.4% in eleven months, while in November it gained 10.6% in annual terms.

Rolled steel production fell in eleven months of 2024 by 7.5% to 54.8 mln metric tons (with the drop by 6.8% annually in November). Non-alloyed steel output also lost 7.5% to 50.4 mln metric tons. Pig iron casting declined by 6.4% to 46.7 mln metric tons.
