MOSCOW, December 25. /TASS/. Russia’s production of fertilizers rose by 9.1% in January-November 2024 year-on-year to 25.7 mln metric tons in terms of 100% of nutritive substances, the State Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported.

In November 2024, production of fertilizers added 6.5% year on year and 3.9% in monthly terms.

Russia’s ammonia production increased by 4.8% in January-November to 16.5 mln metric tons, sulfur output fell by 8.6% to 5 mln metric tons, while production of plastics edged up by 1.2% to almost 10 mln metric tons.
