China boosts New Year goods supplies to Russia twofold in November

BEIJING, December 5. /TASS/. Chinese companies doubled their exports of goods for New Year and Christmas holidays to Russia in annual terms to the amount of $4 mln in November 2024, according to the Main Customs Administration of China.
According to the online system of the Chinese customs, Russia was among top ten key destinations for China’s exports of goods in this category in November 2024.
In the meantime, imports of Chinese Christmas goods by Russia edged down in eleven months of this year by 6% annually to slightly more than $102 mln. This indicator dropped by about 7% on an annualized basis to $94.5 mln in June - October 2024.
China exported New Year toys to Russia to the amount of $109 mln in 2023, with almost a 20% increase year on year. The flow of these goods from China to Russia is the most intensive from June to October and is minimal in January-March and December. The relevant freight flow was moderate from April to May and in November.
