Mineral fertilizer export duty in Russia to be 7% by end of December

MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. The Russian Ministry of Economic Development published update rates of export duties on mineral fertilizers.
The government lowered the export duty for mineral fertilizers to 7% earlier. The duty for the period from December 13 to 31 will therefore total 7% of the customs value of fertilizers, the ministry noted.
"The measure will provide for lowering of the fiscal burden of mineral fertilizer producers, which paid export duties at a higher rate since last fall," the ministry added.
