Russia can boost fertilizer production by 27% by 2030 — association

The output of fertilizers in Russia will reach record-high 63 mln metric tons in 2024, which is 6% more than in 2023, Andrey Guryev noted
MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. Production of fertilizers in Russia may grow by about 27% to almost 80 mln metric tons by 2030, Head of the Russian Fertilizer Producers Association Andrey Guryev said.
"The output of fertilizer production in Russia may grow to almost 80 mln metric tons by 2030 on condition of further growth of exports and domestic market development," Guryev said, cited by the Association.
The output of fertilizers in Russia will reach record-high 63 mln metric tons in 2024, which is 6% more than in 2023, he noted. Exports of fertilizers will also be above historically high 40 mln metric tons, Guryev added.
