MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. The budgetary and credit policy of Russia is being implemented in conditions of the need to restrain inflation, President Vladimir Putin said.

"We are acting in objective conditions of the necessity to restrain inflation and are implementing tough approaches in the budgetary policy, and should build up the credit policy in an appropriate way," the head of state said.

Subsidized mortgage loans made it possible to reach record high housing construction figures, the president stressed. "Our construction segment has achieved record high volumes of housing commissioning," Putin added.
